Tandem Experti – Who We Are
Tandem Experti brings together only highly experienced tandem instructors with long-standing careers in skydiving. Every instructor operating under the Tandem Experti name has completed more than 5,000 skydives, which is one of the fundamental requirements for joining our team.
We do not work with low-experience instructors, as we firmly believe that experience is the key factor that directly impacts safety, decision-making, and the overall quality of every tandem skydive.
Professional Skydivers
Our team consists of former and active members of national skydiving teams, with competitive and professional experience at the highest level. All instructors hold Croatian CCAA licences as well as USPA licences (United States Parachute Association), along with manufacturer authorisations for tandem equipment. This ensures that every skydive fully complies with international safety and operational standards.
In addition to our own operations, Tandem Experti instructors are regularly contracted by other dropzones across the globe, trusted to perform tandem skydives and specialised projects. Our instructors therefore operate internationally on a regular basis, further confirming the level of expertise and trust we have earned within the global skydiving industry.
How and Where We Jump
Although we are most commonly based at Lučko Airport in Zagreb, we are not limited to a single location. Tandem skydives are organised at airports in Croatia and abroad that offer optimal conditions at the time, with particular emphasis on jump altitude, aircraft safety, and overall comfort.

Our Mission and Goal
The primary goal of Tandem Experti is to allow anyone who has ever wondered what it feels like to freefall and fly to experience it in a safe, professional, and controlled environment. Freefall at speeds exceeding 200 km/h is one of the most intense experiences a human can have, and we believe everyone should experience it at least once in a lifetime.

Questions and Answers About Tandem Experti
When were Tandem Experti founded?
The Tandem Experti team was founded in 2012. However, our instructors have significantly longer experience in skydiving and were active in the sport long before the official formation of Tandem Experti.
What do USPA and CCAA mean?
USPA is the world’s largest skydiving association, responsible for developing safety procedures, regulations, licensing systems, and training programmes. It is the most widely recognised skydiving organisation globally.
CCAA is the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency, which defines and regulates skydiving rules and standards in Croatia. CCAA recognises and accepts USPA rules, regulations, and operational protocols.
At which locations do you perform tandem skydives besides Lučko Airport?
In addition to Lučko Airport in Zagreb, we perform tandem skydives at Varaždin Airport, Pribislavec Airport (Čakovec), Poreč, and in Slovenia — Šentvid pri Stični and Metlika. During the winter months in Europe, we often operate and perform tandem skydives in Kenya, at Diani Beach in Skydiving Kenya dropzone
You mentioned that other organisations hire you — what does that mean?
This means that our instructors also work for other skydiving centres, particularly during the winter season when regular operations in Croatia are limited. We are active at locations outside Europe as well, including Kenya, Tanzania, China, Egypt, Ghana, and other destinations.
Do you cooperate with other teams in Croatia?
Yes. We maintain close cooperation with several skydiving teams and clubs, including Skydive Croatia (which we helped establish), Skydive Zagreb, Skydive Varaždin, TS Team, and Aeroklub Aviator.
What do the abbreviations USPA AFF, IAD, Static Line, S&TA, Coach, UPT, PPL, Rigger, Strong Instructor mean?
These are various instructional, operational, and technical qualifications in skydiving and aviation. In short, they represent authorisations for training skydivers, conducting safety oversight, operating tandem systems, maintaining equipment, and piloting aircraft. Together, they confirm that the instructor possesses broad, professional, and hands-on expertise across all aspects of skydiving.
